Terminal map and information
Since march 2008 the airport has three
terminals.
Terminal 1 serves mainly for China Southern Airlines and a few
other airlines, Terminal 2 serves all remaining Chinese airlines and all
international flights.
New Terminal 3 will
feature a main passenger terminal and two satellite concourses and five
floors above ground and two underground.
Terminal 1 is relatively small, with
approximately twenty boarding gates. Terminal 2 was used to replace
Terminal 1 while undergoing renovation, cramping all airlines into this
terminal. There is a passage linking Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 together;
this is accessible at the public level (no passports needed).

As one of the most important
construction projects for the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games, BCIA T3 will start
operation in two stages on 29 February 2008 and 26 March 2008 respectively
after four years of construction commencing from 28 March 2004. T3 consists of
three concourses: C, D and E with total scale of 1,000,000 square meters.
Concourse C is domestic and international check-in, domestic departures, and
domestic and international baggage claim. Concourse D is temporarily dedicated
for charter flights during the Olympic and theParalympic Games. Concourse E is
